I see so many music creatives waiting:
Yet, the best chance we have for success in the industry is to consistently master our craft, expand our network, and pool our resources. Life is short, The world needs to hear your music. Stop waiting!
I'm 52 years old and have a full-time job, but I've learned how to consistently release music with artists and producers half my age. We're always creating new music where you could have the opportunity to participate. We work in a variety of genres including R&B, Hip Hop, Pop, Country, Inspirational, and more. Our output of music has exploded, and the key to this success is collaborating with those who want to consistently work together to finish and release songs.
*Here are examples of my work where I contributed to these projects in various capacities: songwriter, producer, and executive producer. Join us and we'll show you our methods for consistently releasing songs.
The music industry trap is a set of beliefs and behaviors that many music creatives adopt to "make it" that lead to bad contracts, over-dependence on others, distorted perceptions of success, unfulfilled dreams, etc. Chief among these traps is the notion that in order to get noticed you have to spend tons of money on music production and get connected with the "right people." Another trap that captures a lot of artists and producers is when they become so overly concerned about "protecting their brand" that they avoid collaborating with creatives that don't look like what they see from the top artists on social media, TV, and the movies. Unfortunately, we could write a book describing the things that creatives do that box them in and stunt their career growth. Connect with us and we'll show you how to avoid the music industry trap.
Many music creatives suffer from Lone Wolf Syndrome. This is a self inflicted condition that makes artists believe they can conquer the music industry single handedly with their talents alone. They see no need to regularly collaborate and network with their peers. Instead, they tackle everything themselves and shoot far beyond their level in favor of one-off sessions with people who they think can "put them on."
Let's face it. There are a lot of moving parts to writing, producing, releasing, and promoting music. The complexity and expense of it all and the fact that most music creatives like you are trying to juggle all of these tasks on your own is why many artists don't consistently release music.
